Selfcompassion, what is it and what does it bring you?
We can be tough on ourselves, let’s be honest about the things we sometimes say to ourselves. You wouldn’t say those things to a friend. Does this make you happier? Do you achieve your goals better when you’re so hard on yourself? Of course, there are times when you need to give yourself a firm talking-to, a little kick in the pants. But if you do this too often and can’t extend the compassion you feel for others to yourself, it can lead to burnout.
In the Mindfulness training, you learned to listen to your body and be present in the here and now. In the compassion training, we learn to listen to our hearts, in a compassionate way.

What will we do?
In the sessions, we’ll expand our meditation knowledge, introducing even more meditation possibilities. Additionally, you’ve already experienced the weekly homework in the Mindfulness training, which is why this training gives you more freedom to find what works best for you. Throughout the training, there will be plenty of alternatives so that everyone can get the most out of it for themselves.
Of course, there will also be challenges in this training, that’s part of life to some extent. Even now, you can learn to make your own choices and learn to use your imagination in a positive way!
